“Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!” – Psalm 107.8

One of the most unattractive attributes of any individual is ingratitude; particularly when that ingratitude is directed toward our gracious God. Four times in this Psalm does this exact verse appear; verses eight, fifteen, twenty-one, and thirty-one. I think it is obvious that the Lord is trying to teach us to take the time to praise Him. It is only appropriate for believers in Jesus Christ that we would always be a people who realize anything good about us is only because of His goodness and grace. So even when most around us are excited about the turkey and trimmings, the shopping and sales, the family and friends; as God’s redeemed people, may each one of us take the time to “praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!”
